Jack in Slovakia

Here is a bulletin from Jack’s new owners:We are very happy and thankfull for our little jack russel doggy adopted from your shelter. Probably a month ago we moved from Cyprus to our home in Slovakia and Jack is enjoying every minute spent on long walks. He basically became our baby which really likes to play and have fun. He is a lovely dog, friendly with other dogs ( and I have to say we meet a lots of dogs every day and we never had a problem). I attached some photos just to remind you us.Andrea and Peter

Samson and Sadie

In November 2008, a pair of German Shepherd crosses were found running loose and in a desperate condition near Souni. The female, whom we called Sadie, had a broken leg, and the male, called Samson, was suffering from parvo. They were both on the point of starvation. They were both put into foster homes to be nursed back to health. Now a year later, both are doing very well. Sadie has settled in happily with her new owners in Germany. Samson lives in Episkopi now; he has developed into a big powerful dog, and is gradually losing his fear of people. His home often contains fostered puppies, and Samson loves taking care of them.
