DOGS NEEDING FOSTER HOME
12. February 2012 von matthew
This page shows dogs who would benefit from being in a foster home. There are many reasons why this is needed
- a sick dog that need to recover and monitoring
- Dogs recovering from operations
- dogs who need medication more regularly than can be undertaken in the shelter
- Dogs waiting to fly off to their new home
- Puppies while they have their vaccination and are protected enough to come to the shelter
The following dogs require a foster home if you feel you could help this dog call the Duty phone on 97780779

MYA
Mya 143 (pen 14) is a spayed Female Pointer X black. She is am older girl and has been in the shelter for two years. She is an absolute sweetie but is very apprehensive. She can be found hiding in her kennel all day and she would benefit from a calm, kind fosterer or a permanent home. She has been undergoing some training and she has been outside free and did not run off. She likes treats now she is used to them and loves massage. She never used to come out of her house but now she comes out to see a few people she knows and feels safe with. Being in the shelter is exacerbating her anxiety and she now needs a period away from the shelter in a foster or permanent home for more progress to be made.

GEORGE
“Meet our cheeky george, a strong fiesty character, who has learnt how
to get attention at sirius, like a naughty child, george has learned
to cause trouble gets him attention and the shelter brings out the
worse in this dog, due to his naughtiness and sirius policy to give
all pespective adption families full discloser it has made it hard to
find the right family to give george a chance, for this reason we feel
george would be ideal for a long term foster home, ideally a young
couple without other dogs, cats or children, who would love a dog but
can not take on the long term financial support a dog needs, by
fostering george full support could be given and we could see this dog
strive in a home again. George would be high energy, keeping you on
your toes but rewarding in his fun and games, as you watch this boy
grown. Another cheeky boy ferndinad had the same issues, and now in
his foster home for 3months he appears to have turned over a new leaf
so much the family wish to adopt him, could some one give george the
same trial, can any one take a chance on george?”

TIMMY
Would you love a dog, but cant afford a dog, then timmy might be the dog for you, timmy is available for long term fostering, timmy will remain sirius financial responsibilty. But we would love to find a special family to try and get timmy to love again, he is scared, and hates walking, he much prefers to be carried in your arms. Who could ask for anything more, a dog who is clean, doesnt cost you anything and doesnt need walking. Timmy seems to have issues showing love and responding to humans, we would love to see Timmy in a home with maybe a retired couple who want the company of a lap dog, who needs some tlc
